It is no exaggeration to say that everyone knows the name Ferrari—whether they are car enthusiasts or have absolutely no interest in automobiles. The secret behind how Ferrari—originally just a tiny manufacturer based in Maranello—came to captivate the world lies, of course, with its founder, Enzo Ferrari.
At the center of this metal plate, finished in a rich Ferrari Red, stands out the signature of Enzo himself. Below it appear the years 1898, 1988, and 2008, marking his birth, his passing, and the 110th anniversary of his birth, respectively. This keyring is deeply connected to Formula 1, the sport Enzo loved above all others.
It was originally presented to members of "CLUB MECANICI"—an organization of former Scuderia Ferrari mechanics—to commemorate an event held by the club in January 2009. It is a distinguished and proud memento, available only to those who were closest to Enzo Ferrari and carried on his passion firsthand.
