1/24 TAMIYA Based on the Lancia Stratos—a rally prodigy that won three consecutive World Rally Championship titles—the Lancia Stratos Turbo underwent a radical transformation into a track-only Group 5 machine.
Tamiya has captured the car's striking silhouette—designed by Marcello Gandini and featuring a massive front chin spoiler, flared over-fenders, and the iconic Alitalia livery—with exceptional detail. A realistic driver figure is also included for the cockpit.
This is an original kit from the late 1970s.
Unlike modern display-only models, this is a rare vintage kit designed for speed racing; it is motorized and capable of actual running using a Mabuchi RE-140 motor and two AA batteries (sold separately).
