In Alfa Romeo's history of over 100 years, the Giulietta series, introduced in 1954, can be said to be an indispensable model. It is not hard to imagine that Alfa Romeo, which existed as a state-owned company, had to play a major role in the great movement of recovery from the defeat in World War II.
Alfa Romeo, which could be called an ultra-luxury car manufacturer before the war, was undergoing a complete transformation into a mass-produced car manufacturer, and the Giulietta series was introduced as a stepping stone. In 2014, Giulietta celebrates its 60th anniversary.
