Carrozzeria Alfa Romeo: Many Alfa Romeo fans may be confused by this unfamiliar term. When thinking of Carrozzerias associated with Alfa Romeo, names like TOURING, Pininfarina, and Bertone come to mind. From the early to mid-1900s, the mainstream style of automobile production was for carrozzerias to build bodies on engines and chassis made by manufacturers.
Of course, there were also cases where automakers built their own bodies and completed entire vehicles in-house. Alfa Romeo affixed this emblem to those cars, but the number of units produced was not particularly large.
As such, this emblem is extremely rare. The same workshop that produced it back then still produces very small quantities of reproductions. This is a recommended item for emblem collectors.
