The "29" on the front of the cap is the number of the Italian rider Omobono Tenni, who won the Tourist Trophy in 1937. The damaged finish on various parts of the cap evokes the fierce races and history of that time.
This mesh cap is a tribute to Omobono Tenni, who won 47 Moto Guzzi races from 1933 to 1948, but died at the young age of 42 during practice for the Swiss GP.
