Alfa Romeo's emblem has undergone a number of design changes over its more than 100-year history,
and one of the major turning points in its history was the addition of the word "Romeo" to the name Alfa Romeo in 1915.
In 1915, the company name was changed to Alfa-Romeo, adding the name of Nicola Romeo, who was to lead the company under new management.
