The F40 was announced in 1987 to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary. Development began while Enzo was still alive, and it's said to be the last Ferrari he saw through to the end.
Even in the face of the "super" Ferraris that came after it, its dazzling presence remains exceptionally radiant.
This 1/43 scale model of the Ferrari F40 was created using 3D printers and other technologies by Stile GFR, a company founded by designers from Turin's Carozzeria.
The abstract form exudes beautiful lines, as if they had been shaped from sketches during the design process.
The paint was applied by a painter who previously worked on design mockups for Pininfarina. |
