Announced in September 2025, Ferrari's latest flagship model, the 849 Testarossa, caused a stir by reviving the name "Testarossa," a legendary car from the 1980s, for the first time in nearly 30 years. It is positioned as the legitimate successor to the "SF90 Stradale," a pioneer of plug-in hybrids (PHEVs). The number 849 in the car's name refers to the eight-cylinder engine and the approximately 490cc displacement per cylinder. Naturally, as the name "Testarossa" (red head) suggests, the engine cam cover is painted a vibrant red. This is the ignition key provided with the 849 Testarossa. Its design is truly Ferrari, featuring the exact design of the emblem. The button side features a gleaming chrome plate engraved with "849 Testarossa" on a base of white leather. Because the code is embedded, it cannot be used as a blank/spare key, but if your key gets scratched or you press the buttons too many times and the printing disappears, you can replace the contents and return it to like-new condition.
