320mm(width)×95mm(length) SIATA (Societa Italiana Applicazioni Trasformazioni Automobilistiche) was founded in 1926 in Turin, the city of automobiles. SIATA, which had demonstrated its outstanding skills mainly in the development of engines, had maintained a close relationship with FIAT from the time of its establishment. The development of the OHV engine for the famous 508 Balilla, which made its debut in 1932, dramatically enhanced SIATA's reputation. The Balilla, equipped with a 995 cc four-cylinder side-valve engine at the time of its debut, was first used as an improved part and later officially adopted.
A representative model of SIATA is the 1996cc V8 OHV engine of the 8V, a full-fledged sports model of FIAT, which appeared in 1953.
This is the emblem that decorated the body of the Siata-Abarth 750, a car born from the collaboration between SIATA and ABARTH. The logo emblem, which was cut out of metal by hand, is a reproduction made by the emblem workshop in Turin using the same manufacturing method as at that time.
