1/43 brumm The D24 is a development of the D20, which debuted in 1952 as LANCIA's first racing sports car, and has been used in numerous races, including the TARGA FLORIO, in 1/43 scale.
『Carrera Panamericana Mexico』
This race was held from 1950 to 1954. Inspired by the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio races held on public roads in Europe at the time, this race was held in Mexico on the Pan-American Highway, which runs through the Americas.
Cadillac, Lincoln, and other American manufacturers, as well as many European manufacturers, participated in the event. Of course, Italian teams such as Ferrari and LANCIA also prepared special machines and challenged this race with extraordinary determination.
The LANCIA D24, shown here, was the machine that won the glorious victory in 1953 on a harsh stage at an altitude of over 2,000 m and on a rough road surface unique to Mexico.
The driver is a five-time F1 World Champion. Juan Manuel Fangio, nicknamed "EL Maestro" as the greatest driver of the 1950s.
