A man born in Vienna, Austria in 1908. He later released numerous racing machines with the trademark scorpion, named after the constellation in which he was born, and took the world racing scene by storm.
When you hear the name CARLO ABARTH, not only Italian car fans but all car enthusiasts respect the small car he brought into the world. His spirit continues to be passed down to this day.
2019 marks the 70th anniversary since ABARTH & C was founded in 1949. In commemoration of the 70th anniversary, the name CARLO ABARTH was placed between Corso Orbassano and Via Plava in Turin, Italy.
Via Carlo Abarth was born.
This is a copy of the street plate created in commemoration by ABARTH CLUB TORINO, which continues to be active in ABARTH's hometown, TORINO.
