weight:785g Carrozzeria TOURING was founded in Milan in 1926. Anyone who has ever been captivated by the allure of automobiles, particularly beautiful Italian cars, will be familiar with the name.
This carrozzeria, which has produced many beautiful cars, is known for its unique Superleggera method, which boasts ultra-lightweight, highly rigid body manufacturing.
Its beautiful bodies, particularly those for Alfa Romeo and Ferrari, continue to fascinate many enthusiasts today.
Like many other long-established Italian carrozzeria, the name disappeared in the mid-1960s as the times changed, but
its spirit has continued to be passed down through the generations. Finally, in 2006, the name was revived.
This is an official item produced by Touring, looking back on its illustrious history.
Housed in a red box reminiscent of the leather straps that secured the aluminum hoods of the past is a 1/12 scale reproduction of an Alfa Romeo 6C 2500,
over 390mm in length, an imposing figure. The pure white resin sculpture exudes a stately presence that is hard to miss.
Its weight of approximately 800g also gives it a strong presence, making it an extremely rare piece, with only 99 units produced in the world.
The base of the sculpture is engraved with the serial number and the autographs of Giovanni, a descendant of the founding family, and Alberto Bianchi Anderloni.
