27mm×38mm/Mascot The Italian Grand Prix is a traditional race in which the lush Monza Circuit is dyed a brilliant red. Held in September, as the season enters the second half, this Grand Prix is considered an important event in determining the outcome of the championship.
The Italian Grand Prix is one of the most exciting events of the long Grand Prix season. However, in 2001, the atmosphere was somehow oppressive. The tragic events that struck New York on September 11, just before the Grand Prix, cast a dark shadow over the world of F1. Scuderia Ferrari removed all sponsor logos from its F2001 car and painted the nose cone black to pay tribute to the victims.
This key ring was presented by Scuderia Ferrari to those involved in the 2001 Italian Grand Prix. The key ring and chain are crafted from sterling silver. The Ferrari red surface features the words "GRAN PREMIO D'ITALIA" and an F2001 steering wheel motif, with the SF emblem in the center. It's a handmade piece by Italian artisans.
The back is inscribed with the venue, "AUTODROMO DI MONZA (Monza Circuit)," and the event date, September 16, 2001.
This is a deadstock key ring produced in 2001. Please note that there may be some minor scratches.
